Mindfulness

As a mark of respect to your fellow students and to your class tutor, you are asked to attend on time, listen to the information being given in class, to contribute relevantly and refrain from judgemental statements about other students. As part of the practice of professionalism and ethics, all matters, discussed in the class must remain confidential to the group. All mobile phones must be switched off before entering the building. Food may only be eaten in designated areas. Resource Ireland is also a working Holistic Centre – please be mindful that clients may be receiving treatments whilst you are in the building.

Course Attendance

90% attendance on this course is required in order to be able to complete examinations although 100% commitment is advisable. The taking of the final examination can be refused by the I.T.E.C .examiner for insufficient attendance, outside of the control of the class tutor.

What you will need

4 Large bath towels are required for your exam day. Resource Ireland will supply students with towels at the beginning of the course.
A notepad and pen are required for your convenience and additional notes/comments
Please wear comfortable clothing to class i.e. t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms and runners or comfortable shoes.
You will be asked to purchase a uniform towards the end of the course for Exam purposes and thereafter.

Study Time

Recommended study for this course – 1 hour per day for theory is required to attain the necessary standard to pass the Anatomy & Physiology Diploma examination. Additional study as required for other subjects covered. ie. Massage Theory and Unit 22 Professional Conduct and Business Awareness as advised by your Tutors Please note that each student is on continuous assessment for the duration of the course ie. A weekly report on each student is taken with regards to the application of the class work and presented at examination time should the examiner request it.
